Edie Sohigian

Edie Sohigian has a strong background in education, with experience in various roles and organizations. From 2022, they have been working as the Director of Teaching and Learning, Elementary at Fayette County Public Schools (KY). Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University from 2019 to 2022. From 2014 to 2022, they held positions at Orange County Public Schools, including Senior Administrator and Assistant Principal. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a School Improvement Specialist at The Florida Department of Education. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Math and Science Coach and Teacher at Osceola County School District from 2001 to 2009.

Edie Sohigian completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from National Louis University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the same university in 2009. Edie pursued their undergraduate studies in Elementary Education and Sociology from State University of New York College at Potsdam between 1995 and 2000. In addition, they hold additional certifications in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Mathematics 5-9, and School Principal K-12, obtained from The Florida Department of Education.
