Erika Bowles

Erika Bowles, Ed.D., currently serves as the Chief School Leadership Officer for Fayette County Public Schools (KY), a position held since July 2024. Previously, Erika Bowles was the Middle School Principal at Ballyshannon Middle School from March 2018 to July 2024 and held multiple roles in Boone County Schools as Principal of Longbranch Elementary, Assistant Principal at Erpenbeck and Mann Elementary, and Teacher at Stephens and Erpenbeck Elementary. Erika Bowles began a career in education as a Teacher at Tates Creek High School in Fayette County Public Schools, transitioning to a Technical Editor/Writer at Lexmark between 2000 and 2002. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Kentucky University, earned in December 2021, a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Kentucky.
