Cecilia Sternemo

Cecilia Sternemo is a Swedish professional with extensive experience in both governance and music. Currently serving as the Chairperson of the Board at Cecilia's Melody since April 2023, Cecilia also holds multiple roles at the Folke Bernadotte Academy, including Senior Specialist in Rule of Law and Head of Programme for Leadership and Cooperation in Peace Operations. Previous positions include Deputy Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador Secretary. Cecilia has a rich background in music as a songwriter, producer, and founder of The Ankh Music, collaborating with musicians from Egypt and producing music in various languages. Cecilia's educational background includes an MA in Politics of the Middle East from SOAS University of London and a BA in Oriental Studies and Arabic from Uppsala University.
