Yvan Yenda Ilunga

Yvan Yenda Ilunga, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Salve Regina University since August 2022. In addition, Yvan is a member of the International Research Working Group on Peace Operations at the Folke Bernadotte Academy and holds the position of Deputy Director at the Joint Civil-Military Interaction Research and Education Network. Previous academic roles include positions at Central State University, Providence College, and James Madison University, with extensive research experience at Rutgers University as a Ph.D. candidate and research fellow. Yvan's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Global Affairs and various master's degrees and postgraduate qualifications in related fields from notable institutions.
