Shane Walsh

Shane Walsh has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Shane began their career as a Trainee Actuary at AXA Insurance Ireland in August 2006 and worked there until September 2010. Shane then joined RSA Insurance as a Pricing Actuary in October 2010 and stayed until November 2012. Following this, Shane joined FBD Insurance as Head of Pricing & Analytics in December 2012. Shane held this position until April 2020 when they became the Interim Head of Personal Lines at the same company. Finally, in March 2021, Shane resumed their role as Head of Pricing & Analytics at FBD Insurance.

Shane Walsh attended University College Dublin from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Actuarial & Financial Studies (BAFS) degree. In December 2015, they also earned the certification of Fellow from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
