Eric Widstrand

Eric Widstrand serves as the Preconstruction Director at FBi Buildings, Inc. since August 2025. Prior to this role, Eric spent over 13 years at The Walsh Group, where responsibilities included serving as the Sr. Construction Technology Manager with a focus on healthcare, emphasizing 3D MEP clash detection and constructability reviews. Eric's experience also encompasses roles such as Virtual Construction Manager at The George Sollitt Construction Co., Integrated Construction Coordinator at M.A. Mortenson Company, and 3D Modeler/Drafter at Arete' 3 Ltd. Beginning a career as a Service Technician at DRW Services, Eric has a strong educational foundation in Architectural CAD from Westwood College and CAD/Drafting from South Suburban Community College, complemented by a high school diploma from Thornton Fractional South High School.
