Jeffrey A. Whitehead

Jeffrey A. (Jeff) Whitehead was named Chief Investment Officer of FBL Financial Group in June 2020. Prior to joining FBL, Whitehead was with Aegon USA Investment Management since 2001, and most recently served as Head of Insurance Asset Management & Client Investment Solutions, leading a team that managed Transamerica’s general account portfolios. Prior to Aegon, Whitehead was Director, Sales, Marketing & Insurance Portfolio Strategy with PIMCO (Specialty Markets) and Vice President, Insurance Portfolio Strategist & Director of Insurance Marketing with Conseco Capital Management. Whitehead holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
