Jaume Vilella

Jaume Vilella has extensive experience in sports coaching and management, currently serving as Head Coach and Director Técnico for the wheelchair basketball section of FC Barcelona since January 2008. Vilella also manages the FC Barcelona wheelchair basketball team and leads specific training programs. Since January 2000, Vilella has been the Director of the Escola AFA, an initiative supporting children with physical and intellectual disabilities in collaboration with hospitals like Vall d'Hebron. Previous roles include positions in human resources at Abertis from 1995 to 1999, where organizational support and candidate interviews were a focus, and as the Director of Sales for America & European Sports from 1989 to 1994, managing sales operations across Spain. Vilella's education includes studies at Salesianos Sarria, culminating in EGB and COU qualifications in 1989.
