Paul de Rook

Paul de Rook serves as a member of the College van Bestuur at Noorderpoort since July 2021, focusing on leading the organization through a transition while addressing long-term financial challenges and ensuring education quality amid a rapidly changing labor market. In addition, Paul de Rook is a commissioner at FC Groningen BV and has held various positions in the Gemeente Groningen, including Wethouder for Economic Affairs, Culture, Finance, and Organization. Past roles include member of the Supervisory Board at Theatergroep NiznO, adjunct-secretary at SER Noord-Nederland, and municipal council member for D66 in Groningen. Paul de Rook holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Groningen and has completed a post-graduate program in Foundations of Management at Nyenrode Business University.
