Bouabdellah Tahri - Oly

Bouabdellah Tahri is a former professional athlete with a career spanning from 1996 to 2018. Bouabdellah represented France in various international competitions and won 6 medals. Tahri also achieved numerous titles and was crowned the European cross-country champion. In 2018, they transitioned to a role at AS Monaco as the Chargé de la Performance, de la Ré-athlétisation et de la Préparation Mentale. Subsequently, they worked as a Consultant médias at L'EQUIPE from December 2017 to August 2022. Tahri also co-wrote a book on Kenyan training methods, drawing from their personal experiences in East Africa. Additionally, they authored a fitness book during the COVID-19 lockdown in collaboration with the L'Equipe group and Solar éditions. Currently, Tahri serves as the Head of Recruitment at FC Metz and also works as a Data Recruitment Analyst.

Bouabdellah Tahri pursued their education at various institutions and obtained multiple degrees and certifications throughout their career. In 1998-1999, they attended CREPS de LORRAINE and obtained a degree in BEJEPS (Sport). Continuing their educational journey, in 2009-2010, they studied at CREPS de LORRAINE again and completed a DEJEPS (Sport) degree. In 2018, they attended Université de Bourgogne and obtained a Diplome Universitaire in Coaching et Performance Mentale (Coaching and Mental Performance). The following year, in 2019, they enrolled at Universite de Lorraine and earned a Diplome Universitaire in Ingenierie de la Haute Performance Sportive - Coaching Data Innovation (Sport), specializing in coaching data innovation. Additionally, in August 2019, they obtained a certification in Diététique Sportive (Sports Nutrition) from SSCS Training. In 2021-2022, they pursued a Master 2 degree in Méthodologie et Ingénierie de la Préparation à la Performance et Expertise (Methodology and Engineering of Performance Preparation and Expertise) at Universite de Lorraine.
