Alexey Proshin

Alexey Proshin has been holding the position of Head of Credit since November 2021.

After an initial experience in Russia in the areas of financial markets and banking, in 2005 he joined Intel Corporation as a Financial Analyst supporting Corporate Services Division.

In 2007, he moved to France and shortly after joined Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance (CACF). He started as an analyst in the Corporate Credit underwriting team covering foreign business.

Between 2013 and 2016 he held the position of Group Corporate Credit Manager at CACF headquarters.

In 2016, he moved to China to serve as Deputy General Manager & Chief Credit Officer at GAC-Sofinco, a 50:50 Joint Venture between CACF and Guangzhou Automobile Company, one of China’s largest car manufacturers (around 2 million units sold in 2020).

Alexey Proshin was born in 1981, he holds diplomas in Economics and Linguistics obtained in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, in 2003. Since 2008 he also holds a postgraduate degree in Management and Contemporary World from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
