Damjan Marion

Damjan Marion is an experienced technology professional with a focus on cloud and network security, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Cisco since February 2007, where roles have included leadership positions in various engineering groups. In addition to Cisco, Damjan has been the Technical Lead for the Vector Packet Processing Project at FD.io since February 2016 and is an active member of its Technical Steering Committee. Previous experience includes a commitment to the FreeBSD Project as a committer, a Network Technology Expert at Verso, and various networking roles at Iskon Internet and kvarner.net, beginning with foundational work as a Systems Administrator. Educational background includes attendance at Gimnazija Andrije Mohorovicica from 1994 to 1997.
