Richard Thorpe

Richard Thorpe has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Richard is currently the Head of Engineering at FE fundinfo since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at FE from 2013 to 2019, where they held the positions of Director of IT and Head of Technology. In these roles, they focused on delivering robust and stable data services, identifying future technologies, and improving process efficiency. Before FE, Richard worked as the Online Support Manager at Selfridges, where they developed and implemented release strategies and built strong partner relationships. Richard also served as the Operations Director at Screen Pages, where they managed web hosting services and client relationships. Richard's experience also includes working as a Support Manager at Equipos Ltd and as a Senior Consultant at Curvaceous Software. Richard'searly career involved professional training and development as a Trainee Mechanical Engineer at BP Exploration.

Richard Thorpe attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering.
