Erik Nikolai Stavseth

Erik Nikolai Stavseth is an experienced professional in commercial management and shipping analysis. Currently serving as Commercial Manager at Golar LNG since May 2021, Stavseth previously held the same position at Golar Power from February 2017 to April 2021, focusing on integrated power solutions involving LNG supply and related infrastructures. Prior to these roles, Stavseth worked as an Analyst at Arctic Securities, where attention was given to shipping markets and equity research from August 2009 to January 2017, and as a Shipping Analyst at Lorentzen & Stemoco covering the dry bulk market. Stavseth’s early career included a project management role at NTNU, where a framework for entrepreneurship education was developed, and as a Business Developer at Norwegian Maritime Software. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biophysics & Entrepreneurship from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and participation in a Graduate Executive Program in Entrepreneurship at Boston University.
