Nico Sgroi

Nico Sgroi, MBA has extensive work experience in various industries. Currently, they hold the position of Head, Drybulk at Fearnleys Dubai. Prior to that, they co-founded MT Coach, a life coaching company that focuses on building self-esteem and effective communication. Nico also served as the Managing Director of RR Global Freight Solutions, where they directed various functions and implemented best practices to optimize trading productivity. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Panamax at Astrup Fearnley, where they provided balanced services and international opportunities in the dry cargo market. Before that, they were a Freight Trader at COFCO Agri, engaging in agricultural trading and processing businesses. Nico also worked as a Freight Derivatives Broker at Freight Investor Solutions and Tullett Prebon, specializing in protecting against freight rate volatility. At Endemol International, they served as a Digital Team Assistant, where they managed digital assets and conducted market research on digital business areas.

Nico Sgroi, MBA, has a diverse education history spanning over several years. In 2000, they obtained a degree in Building Surveyor from ITCG R. Bonghi. Following that, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a BA in International Finance at The University of Buckingham (European School of Economics). In 2017, they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Managing People From a Global Perspective from Thunderbird School of Global Management. During the same year, they also secured a Certificate in Supply Chain Management and Decision Making from Université catholique de Louvain. Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Management at the Australian Institute of Business. Additionally, Nico Sgroi acquired further certifications including "Postgraduate Certificate in Managing People From a Global Perspective" from Thunderbird School of Global Management, obtained in April 2017, and "Supply Chain Management: A Decision-Making Framework" from Université catholique de Louvain, obtained in March 2017.
