Steve Schulte joined Fears Nachawati in February 2020, after over 15 years of exclusively representing individuals and families harmed by unsafe practices and products. Since his start with the Firm, he has managed a docket of over approximately 4,000 IVC filter cases. Together, in a short period of time, Steve and Darren have grown the asbestos department with the addition of staff and lawyers, and currently have a large docket of asbestos cases pending in courts across the country. Steve joined the firm with vast experience representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from exposures to toxic substances like asbestos and silica, defective drugs and medical devices, car and commercial truck accidents, workplace injuries, firearms, animal attacks, premises liability, civil rights violations, as well as cases involving sexual assault and abuse and institutional concealment. Steve has tried cases and obtained recoveries for clients in state and federal courts across the United States. Steve was honored as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2020, and previously, had been repeatedly named to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, an honor achieved by fewer than 3% of Texas lawyers, the Top Rated Lawyer, and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and holds the highest AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his ongoing and significant accomplishments in his field of practice.
