Ira Spitzer

Ira Spitzer is an experienced media professional with a strong background in producing award-winning documentaries and long-form content for global news agencies. Currently serving as Bureau Chief and Head of Long Form at Feature Story News since February 2012, Ira has successfully led international teams and directed various media projects, including videos, podcasts, and social media content. Previous roles include launching the Berlin operation for an international broadcast news agency and managing live broadcast operations in New York. Ira has also worked as an Executive Producer for notable clients such as A&E Television and Nike, and held senior multimedia positions at Newsweek and Naples Daily News. Ira holds a Master's degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as educational experience at the University of Tübingen.
