Yung Siang Liau

Yung Siang Liau has a strong background in machine learning and data science. They started their career in 2013 at the Institute for Infocomm Research as a Research Engineer, where they focused on applying machine learning and natural language processing algorithms to cyber-security and intelligence problems. During this time, they developed tools and prototype systems for research projects and achieved notable awards for their machine learning solutions.

In 2016, Yung Siang Liau joined DataRobot as a Data Scientist, where they worked until 2022. They started as a Data Scientist and eventually became a Senior Data Scientist. At DataRobot, they utilized their expertise in data science to contribute to various projects.

Currently, Yung Siang Liau is working at FeatureByte as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, starting in 2022.

Yung Siang Liau earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, attending from 2008 to 2012. Yung Siang then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2012 to 2015.
