Alexander Stride

Alexander Stride is an accomplished professional in the field of machine learning and software development, currently serving as the Head of Machine Learning at Featurespace since July 2021, with a progression from Research Engineer to Lead and Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where Alexander designed and developed machine learning services for the Alexa QA runtime and automated frameworks for NLP models. Previous positions also encompass back-end development at Luminance AI, leading the development of a project for Voxly Digital enhancing Alexa's recipe capabilities, and teaching Computer Science at Epsom College. Alexander holds a Bachelor's degree in Computational & Theoretical Linguistics with Law from the University of Cambridge and has completed an immersive full-stack web development program at General Assembly.
