Frederico Magalhães

Frederico Magalhães is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology expert, serving as the Founder and CEO of SISQUAL since 2001, a leading company in Workforce Management solutions for retail and healthcare. Frederico holds a PhD in Robotics and Automation Engineering from Cranfield University, where Frederico also lectured in the Robotics & Automation Department from 1984 to 1989. Frederico Magalhães has a strong background in developing innovative technologies, evidenced by the founding of Integral Vision in 1989, a pioneer in artificial vision with numerous patents in the USA. In addition to their roles in SISQUAL and Integral Vision, Frederico Magalhães has served as CEO of Textáfrica since 1996 and as Vogal do Conselho de Administração at FEC - Fundação Fé e Cooperação since 2013, alongside a prior position as Vice President of Medar Inc from 1994 to 1996. Frederico Magalhães completed an Advanced Management Program at Kellogg Executive Education in 2015, further enhancing a robust educational foundation in mechanical engineering from The University of Manchester.
