Cis Vangoidsenhoven

Project Officer, International Unit at Fedasil

Cis Vangoidsenhoven has work experience in various organizations, starting with their current role as a Project Officer in the International Unit of Fedasil since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Process & System Support Officer at Plan International Belgium from October 2018 to June 2022. They also worked as an Intern at the UN Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium from March 2018 to June 2018. Their earliest work experience was as a Flanders Trainee at the Division of Freedom of Expression and Media Development in UNESCO from January 2016 to June 2016.

Cis Vangoidsenhoven pursued their education at KU Leuven, a university in Belgium. They first completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from 2010 to 2013. Following this, Cis went on to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History, with a focus on Modernity and Society from 2013 to 2014. They further pursued their academic career at KU Leuven and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in European Studies: Transnational and Global Perspectives (MAES) from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their academic degrees, Cis Vangoidsenhoven has also earned several certifications to supplement their education. This includes completing the "Summer School on 'EU Immigration and Asylum Law and Policy'" offered by the Odysseus Academic Network for Legal Studies on Immigration and Asylum in Europe in July 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in International Humanitarian Law (IHL) from Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen in April 2019. Cis also completed the "Infocycle Belgian Development Agency" certification program offered by the Belgian Development Agency in March 2017.
