Daniel Huygens

Daniel Huygens is an experienced anthropologist at Fedasil since March 2008, holding various leadership roles, including coordination of reception teams and multidisciplinary groups providing social services to vulnerable populations, particularly unaccompanied minors seeking asylum. Huygens has managed operations across multiple aspects of asylum seeker support, including safety, logistics, and psychosocial assistance. Additionally, experience includes serving as an expert for the European Union Agency for Asylum, focusing on the implementation of best practices for refugee reception. Educational qualifications include a Master in Anthropology from UCL, along with credentials in psychopedagogy and social sciences.
