Pieter Cornelis

Pieter Cornelis has worked in various roles throughout their career. Pieter began working at Amnesty International Vlaanderen in 2014 as an intern. Pieter then moved on to Kortenberg in 2016, where they served as the Diensthoofd Algemene Zaken until 2018. Pieter then joined Stad Vilvoorde as a Stafmedewerker: procesbeheerder from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Pieter is working at Fedasil since 2019 as a Risk Manager - Responsible Organizational Control. In this role, they are responsible for the development of organizational control, guidelines, good practices, and awareness-raising. Pieter also acts as the central point of contact for both internal and external audit actors.

Pieter Cornelis obtained a Master's degree in Geschiedenis from the University of Antwerp in the year 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geschiedenis from the same institution, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2013.
