Amir Ajami is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in flight control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Flight Controls Engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration since October 2021, Amir specializes in fly-by-wire systems, system safety analysis, and airworthiness certification processes. Prior to this role, Amir worked at Boeing from May 2004 to October 2021, focusing on guidance, navigation, and control engineering, specifically on the design of flight control laws for the 787 and 777-9 aircraft. Amir holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Data Science from Northwestern University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and additional graduate coursework in dynamics and control from various prestigious institutions.
