Matt Sanders

Matt Sanders is an experienced program manager and systems engineer with a strong background in aviation and aerospace systems. Currently serving as an Acting Program Manager and Acquisition Lead at the Federal Aviation Administration since August 2020, Matt has been instrumental in modernizing traffic flow management and decision support systems within the National Airspace System. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer at Aurora Innovations, where Matt developed and implemented UAS programs, and contributions to the FAA's Terminal Surveillance Sector at SAIC. Education includes an M.S. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College.
