Deena Shetler

Deena Shetler has extensive experience in telecommunications law and policy, currently serving as the Chief of Staff and Legal Advisor for Media and International in the Office of Commissioner Anna M. Gomez at the Federal Communications Commission since October 1996. Previous roles at the FCC include Deputy Chief of Staff for Chairwoman Rosenworcel, Deputy Chief in the Office of Economics and Analytics, and various legal advisory positions within the Common Carrier Bureau and Wireline Competition Bureau. Prior to joining the FCC, Deena was an Associate at Howrey LLP specializing in antitrust and commercial litigation. Deena holds a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from UC San Diego.
