Shabbir Hamid

Shabbir Hamid is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Attorney Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission within both the Wireline Competition Bureau's Pricing Policy Division and the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau's Cybersecurity and Communications Reliability Division since October 2022. In addition, Shabbir is the owner of Maedah Coffee, a coffee roasting company providing high-quality specialty coffee with national delivery since June 2023. Previous roles include Associate Attorney at The Chaklader Firm and Law Clerk positions at Croessmann & Westberg, P.C. and Winer & Winer, LLC, alongside a Judicial Internship at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a Legal Internship with the Military Commissions Defense Organization. Shabbir holds a Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from UT Arlington, complemented by early education at Al Jamea tus Saifiyah.
