Michael Malinzak

Michael Malinzak is an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney with over two decades of practice, currently at Harness, Dickey & Pierce PLC since May 1999. Areas of expertise include patent and trademark application prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and due diligence analysis across various technical fields including mechanical and biomedical engineering. Additionally, Michael serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy College of Law, teaching the Intellectual Property Module within a simulated M&A program for law students. Michael Malinzak holds a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where significant academic achievements include membership in the Order of the Coif and editorial roles in law publications. Michael’s educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Michigan State University.
