Abi Shanmugam

Abi Shanmugam, CDMP, CBIP, is an accomplished data management professional with extensive experience across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Assessment Operations at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since December 2013, Abi oversees the technical strategy for implementing data management solutions, including data governance and architecture. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Senior Data Architect at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and Development Lead Datawarehouse at Bank of America. Abi began a career in data warehousing with positions at FedEx and American Express, leading efforts in data enrichment and standardization. Abi holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras.
