Amy C. Thompson

Amy Thompson is an experienced communications professional who has worked in various high-profile roles in both the public and private sectors. Amy currently serves as the Director of the Office of Communications at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Prior to their role at the FDIC, Amy held positions such as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Director of Communications at the Community Financial Services Association. Amy has a background in journalism and political science, having earned their BA from the University of North Texas.
