Angela Shipp, CPA, MBA, has extensive experience in accounting and risk management, currently serving as a Regional Accountant at the FDIC since November 2007. In this role, Angela addresses inquiries from Field Examiners, Case Managers, and Regional Management Staff while staying updated on accounting guidance. Previously, Angela held roles as an Audit Manager at Banks, Finley, White and Company, CPAs from July 1999 to November 2007, overseeing client engagements and supervising staff, and worked as a Risk Management Examiner at the FDIC from June 1992 to July 1999, focusing on the analysis of banks' financial conditions. Angela's educational background includes a Banking Diploma from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking, an MBA in Finance from the University of Mississippi, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from LeMoyne-Owen College, and an Associate’s in Business Management from Southwestern Tennessee Community College.
