Nelson Caballero

Nelson Caballero, PMP, CSM is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in project and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Program Manager at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since June 2020, Nelson previously held the position of IT Project Manager at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) from September 2013 to June 2020. Prior to that, Nelson worked as an IT Specialist specializing in software development and project management for the United States Department of Defense from August 2006 to September 2013, and as an IT Specialist (Software Development) and Electrical Engineer at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission from January 1995 to August 2006. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The George Washington University and a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
