Richard Huffine

Richard Huffine is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in library and information management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Enterprise Information & Records Management at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since July 2018. Huffine has held various significant roles including Chief of the Library and Public Information Center at FDIC and adjunct instructor at The Catholic University of America School of Library and Information Science. Previous positions include Librarian at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Senior Director for the U.S. Federal Market at ProQuest, and Library Director at the U.S. Geological Survey. Huffine's educational background includes a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University.
