Richard Lucas

Richard Lucas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Business Innovation Project Manager at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since August 2022, Richard previously held significant roles at the US Department of Homeland Security, including Section Chief of the Data Analytics Group where oversight included a $300 million Annual Operating Plan and major IT investment portfolios. Prior experience includes positions at Eaton Corporation as a Senior Financial Analyst, National Reconnaissance Office as Deputy Director of the Rapid Engineering Division, and the Electronic Systems Center as Branch Manager. Richard holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
