Andrew Satten

Acting Chief Administrative Law Judge at Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

Andrew Satten is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in administrative law and energy regulation. Serving as Chief Administrative Law Judge and previously in multiple roles at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since August 2012, Andrew has demonstrated leadership and expertise in regulatory matters. Additionally, Andrew is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School since August 2014. Previous positions include Attorney Fellow at the American Wind Energy Association, Legal Fellow at the U.S. Green Building Council, and various clerkships, showcasing Andrew's strong background in environmental and energy law. Andrew holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
