Brian Park

Brian Park is an experienced Energy Economist currently working at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since November 2018, where responsibilities include leading projects that analyze utility-scale battery energy operations and financials. Prior to this role, Park served as a Senior Energy Economist at the U.S. Energy Information Administration from May 2015 to November 2018, contributing to various teams focused on electricity, international trade data automation, and coal production forecasting. Additional experience includes consulting for Pöyry Energy Ltd, serving as a Senior Transportation Economist at HDR, Inc., and working in various analyst positions, including at the Financial Management Service and the Internal Revenue Service. Brian Park holds a Master of Pacific International Affairs in International Economics/Relations from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
