Senior Consultant / Project Manager (Public Safety) at Federal Engineering, Inc

Mike Dubé has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Mike began their career as a Sergeant in the York Regional Police in 1986 and then worked as a Director for Northrop Grumman (formerly PRC) from 1991 to 2000. Following this, they served as a Division Chief in the Toronto Fire Services from 2000 to 2007.

In 2007, they joined the City of Port Moody as Deputy Chief before transitioning to Lambton College Sarnia in 2011, where they worked as a Professor and Coordinator. Mike then moved on to the role of Director and Chief of Protective Services at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2012 to 2014.

In 2015, they joined L.R. Kimball, a CDI Company, as a Public Safety Consultant, focusing on CAD and complex system management, interoperability, NG9-1-1, and cross-border communications. Mike remained in this role until January 2017, when they joined Federal Engineering, Inc. as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager in the Public Safety division.

Additionally, since 2008, Mike Dubé has been serving as an Adjunct Faculty and Instructor at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Mike has also dedicated a significant portion of their career to the Canadian Armed Forces - Reserve, where they held the position of Major - Signals Officer from 1990 to 2018.

Mike Dubé has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Mike also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Toronto, a Diploma in Law and Security Administration from Humber College, and a Certificate in Advanced Police Sciences from Mount Royal University.
