Sheryl Touchton, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various communication and leadership roles. Sheryl started their career as an intern at Autism Speaks in 2008 and later took on the role of Co-Founder and Director of Awareness at AutismUGA, a student-run philanthropy dedicated to assisting individuals and families affected by autism. In 2010, Sheryl joined William Mills Agency as a FinTech Public Relations, where they worked until 2016. During this time, they also served as a PR Manager at Troutman Sanders LLP from 2016 to 2017. Sheryl then joined Truist as the VP of Corporate Communications, Enterprise Technology, where they worked until 2021. From 2016 to 2021, they also served as a Board Member for the Georgia Chapter of Autism Speaks. In 2021, Sheryl joined Ameris Bank as the Director of Communications, and in 2023, they transitioned to their current role as the Director of Corporate Communications at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.

Sheryl Touchton, MBA, obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, and a minor in Spanish from The University of Georgia. Sheryl also holds a Personal & Organizational Leadership Certificate from the Institute for Leadership Advancement at The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. Additionally, they studied Spanish at Menendez Pelayo International University and pursued Journalism and Public Relations at The University of Georgia.
