Andy Mai

Andy Mai has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and operational risk management. Andy began their career at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked as a Senior Manager Advisory Services for 13 years. During this time, they gained extensive experience in financial and IT audits, enterprise risk management, and information security. Andy then moved on to Union Bank, where they served as the Head of IT Risk and Control for Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting. Here, they were responsible for overall IT control testing and quality supporting financial and regulatory reporting. After their time at Union Bank, Andy joined Western Digital as the Head of IT Security and Compliance. Most recently, they have been working at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco as the Senior Director of Technology and Operational Risk Management, as well as the Director of Model Risk and End User Computing Risk Management.

Andy Mai earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on IT, Accounting, and Management from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Certified Public Accountant from AICPA, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
