Mani Massoomi has a diverse range of work experience in risk management and strategy. They have held leadership positions at various companies, including the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, SoFi, McLaren Strategic Ventures, and TIAA. In these roles, they have been responsible for overseeing risk management frameworks, developing policies and procedures, and establishing governance structures. They have also provided advisory services to startups, assisting with operational and risk optimization strategies, business development, and monetization strategies. Additionally, they have served as a risk management and strategy advisor, sharing insights and expertise with investment professionals and participating in market research projects.
Mani Massoomi has a diverse education history. They completed the Advanced Leadership Program at The Wharton School in 2021. In the same year, they also participated in the Diversity & Inclusion Program at Cornell University. Prior to these programs, Mani Massoomi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Tufts University.
In addition to their formal education, Mani Massoomi has acquired several certifications throughout their career. They became a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2015. In 2012, they obtained a Certification in Risk Management Assurance from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Furthermore, they achieved the certification of Certified Financial Services Auditor in 2005 and Certfied Investments and Derivatives Auditor in 2004, both through The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Mani Massoomi also holds certifications in Six Sigma, and they obtained the Series 7, 55, 63, and 65 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2000.
