Paul Pesavento has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Paul started their career as an Electronics Engineer at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), where they prepared test plans, reports, financial statements, budgets, and correspondence. Paul then worked as a Resource Management Assistant at Naval Air Warfare Center Headquarters, assisting with budget preparation, financial reporting, and program management.

After that, Paul joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a Budget Analyst, where they formulated budgets and analyzed budget estimates to identify imbalances among program areas. Paul then moved to the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, as a Project Manager and part of the PMO team. In this role, they introduced uniform project management practices and provided support to the Chief Information Officer and the overall CIO staff.

Paul also worked at the Corporation for National and Community Service as a Program Manager, ensuring aligned enterprise system strategies and improved effectiveness across all programs. In their most recent role at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, they served as a Principal Project Manager, providing project management expertise and leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned projects while aligning with strategic goals.

Throughout their career, Paul has consistently demonstrated their ability to manage projects, improve processes, and achieve organizational goals.

Paul Pesavento earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University from 1983 to 1987. Paul then pursued a Master's Degree in Management from Florida Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1990. Finally, they completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a minor in Finance from the University of Scranton from 1990 to 1991.
