Sean C. Dent

Sean C. Dent currently serves as the Principal Deputy General Counsel at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where responsibilities include leading the Administrative Law Group and providing legal guidance on various issues such as ethics, compliance, and internal controls. Previously, Sean held multiple roles at the U.S. Department of Education, focusing on ethics and legal compliance, and served as an Ethics Counsel at The White House during a detail. Sean's earlier experience includes work as an Ethics Attorney and a law clerk for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Sean holds a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Allegheny College.
