John Fondren

John Fondren is a Cybersecurity System Analyst at FEDITC, specializing in the analysis and authorization of network controls for USSOCOM, with a focus on RMF and Continuous Monitoring. Previously, John held various leadership roles at the 1st Joint Special Operations Air Component, including Section Chief of Airborne Communications Training and Recruiting, where responsibilities included developing training for SOF units and managing assessments for communications personnel. As the Senior Enlisted Leader in J6, John supervised a diverse team overseeing multiple networks and collaborated with leadership on satellite communications advancements. John's military career spans two decades within the United States Air Force and includes roles in RF Transmission Systems, ultimately leading to significant positions such as Executive Communications Detachment Chief and Lead RF Trainer. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Security from American Military University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University.
