Lawrence Wood

Lawrence Wood, CPST, CPSL, aPHR, currently serves as a Law Enforcement Training Technician at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers since December 2022, providing technical support and training program administration. Previously, Wood held the position of Deputy Probation Officer Senior at the Mohave County Probation Department, supervising Juvenile Supervision Officers. With a background as a Human Resources Recruiting Information Functional Analyst at the National Guard Bureau, Wood has also participated in the DOD Skill Bridge Career Skills Program with First Command Financial Services. Wood's extensive experience includes roles as an Instructor and Facilitator in the Air National Guard, Correctional Officer at the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, and Senior Security Specialist at Pfizer, among others. Educationally, Wood holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix and multiple degrees and certificates in management, information systems, and fire science from various institutions.
