Amy S.

Amy S. has extensive experience in public service and trade policy, currently serving as Acting Secretary and Director of Maritime Supply Chain Analytics at the Federal Maritime Commission since October 2022. Previously, Amy held several senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2022, including Senior Director of the Private Sector Office and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic Security. From 2008 to 2017, roles at U.S. Customs and Border Protection included Acting Director of the Trade Measures Division, Senior Program Manager for the Single Window, and International Trade Specialist. Amy began their career as a Senior Fiscal Analyst at the Arizona Joint Legislative Budget Committee from 2005 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
