Simon Fuchs

Simon Fuchs is currently a Lecturer at Dartmouth College since January 2025 and serves as a Research Economist and Assistant Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, a position held since April 2019. Previous positions include a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from December 2018 to March 2019, and a Research Assistant at the Toulouse School of Economics from April 2014 to December 2017, where Fuchs worked under the guidance of Professor Thomas Chaney. Past experiences also encompass visiting the PhD program at Dartmouth College in September 2017, internships at DIW Berlin and the European Commission in 2012 and 2010, respectively, alongside earlier support roles with the German Academic Exchange Service and Deutsches Rotes Kreuz. Educational credentials include a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Econometrics and Economic Theory from the Toulouse School of Economics, a BA in Economics & Politics from the University of York, and an exchange program at Glendon Campus of York University.
