David Kane

Assistant Vice President, FedNow initiative at Federal Reserve Bank of Boston

David Kane is an assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston with responsibility for aiding in the development and execution of the technology program plan for the FedNowSM initiative.

Prior to this role, David spent the bulk of his career at Fidelity Investments where he held a variety of leadership positions in both the Brokerage and Asset Management divisions. As vice president of Program Management at Fidelity, he was responsible for leading complex technology programs and teams and has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry.

David has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nichols College, an M.B.A. in international business from the University of New Mexico, and a master’s degree in computer information systems from Bentley University.
