Jonathan Parker serves as the Robert C. Merton (1970) Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the International Programs Professor of Management at the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy. Since 2015, Jonathan Parker has contributed as co-director at the Golub Center, while also holding positions as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and as a member of the Panel of Economic Advisers for the Congressional Budget Office. Additional roles include visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and academic advisor for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Jonathan Parker has held various editorial and academic positions, including associate editor of the Journal of Money Credit and Banking and a visiting professorship at Harvard University. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University, and a secondary education from The Roxbury Latin School.
