Ralph A. Ventresco

Ralph Ventresco is a Vice President in the Wholesale Payments department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. His group’s responsibilities include the oversight of Fedwire Operations; servicing real time settlement of funds and securities transfers, National Settlement Service files, the collateralization of deposits for over 11,000 state and local governments, and adherence to the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance program.

Ralph joined the Federal Reserve in 1987. Throughout his tenure, Ralph has participated in or led several Federal Reserve System payment initiatives, including the consolidation and centralization of Fedwire, the deployment of Fedline Advantage, implementation of Wholesale software suite, the consolidation of the Federal Reserve’s check collection function, and the establishment of the Asset-Backed Commercial Paper Money-Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility.

He earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Management from Eastern Nazarene College.
