Bill Fotos is a vice president and chief data officer in the Financial Support Office (FSO) headquartered at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing the data management and analytics strategy for the FSO. Bill joined the Boston Fed in 2015 as an assistant vice president in the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) department with responsibility for the application delivery and end-user services functions at the Bank. During his time with the Bank, Bill has played a key role in digital transformation to optimize and modernize services, and led the effort to implement robotic process automation at the Federal Reserve.
Prior to joining the Bank, Bill held various senior leadership positions in application development, program management, and service delivery at companies including EMC, ACS (a Xerox company), Houghton Mifflin, and Hanover Insurance.
He holds a B.S. degree from Boston College.
